|講者簡介:
Dr. Hsiang-Chieh Lee is an Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics, and Department of Electrical Engineering in National Taiwan University (NTU). He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering and electro-optical engineering from NTU in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He then attended the doctoral graduate program in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a research focus on the bioelectronics division and obtained his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 2017. Dr. Lee is a member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of the Republic of China and recipient of the Young Scholar Fellowship Program as well as the Career Development Grant by the Ministry of Science and Technology (currently, the National Science and Technology Council, NSTC) and National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) in Taiwan, respectively. Dr. Lee also received the NSTC Ta-You Wu Memorial award in 2023 in recognition of his contribution to the Optics and Photonics field. Dr. Lee’s current research interests include (1) non-destructive tomographic inspection technology for industry applications; (2) early detection of the cancerous lesions using both optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA) technologies; (3) development of minimally invasive or handheld optical imaging instruments; (4) machine learning/artificial intelligence based biomedical image analysis; (5) development of multifunctional and computation engine for edge computing applications.
