NII International Internship Program (2023 2nd Call) Application is now open!

 

Please find Application details as below contents:

 

  • Applicant Qualification:
    1. Master’s and PhD students of NTU-EECS
    2. Students who are currently enrolled at NTU, and will maintain their enrollment status at NTU for the full duration of their Internships
  • Program Period: Arrive in Japan before the end of March 2024
    Duration of internship: 60 to 180 days; to be discussed with NII supervisors
  • NTU-EECS’ nomination quotas to NII: 3 students
  • Sojourn expenses: 5,700 JPY per day as sojourn expenses will be covered by NII while intern students are staying at NII
  • Application documents:
    1. 2023_NII_2nd Call_NTU application form (as the attached word file; fill in the form in Chinese/English; revise the file name into your English name as in your passport)
    2. Application_Form-2023_Call2 (as the attached Excel file; fill in the form in English; revise the file name into your English name as in your passport)
    3. Transcript for all past semesters (including the 2023 Spring semester; freshmen in MS/PhD program should submit transcripts of all semesters in undergraduate/MS program)
    4. Letter of recommendation from your advisor (no official format; used for NTU-EECS’ reviewing process)
    5. English or Japanese language proficiency test results, or other evidence to prove your good communication ability with Japanese researchers
    6. Email correspondence with NII professor(s) indicating his/her interests in accepting you
    7. English CV
  • Matters needing attention:
    1. Internship Program report: Submit your Internship Program report (minimum two pages of an A4-size paper) to NTU-EECS.
    2. Applicants of this Internship Program have to apply to NTU-EECS first, if passing NTU-EECS’ reviewing process and receive NTU-EECS’ nomination qualification, NTU-EECS will nominate students to NII.
    3. If applicants passing NTU-EECS’ reviewing process, it only represents that applicants receive NTU-EECS’ nomination qualification, NII reserves the right of final review and admission.

 

Application deadline: PM5:00 on Oct 13th 2023 to Ms. Cathy @office 202 in Barry Lam Hall.

Please send all Application documents’ e-file to cathychen@ntu.edu.tw with the email titled NII International Internship Program (2023 2nd Call) Application; paper printout to be submitted as well.
