This is Cathy Chen from the college office of EECS.<\/p>\n<p>Please kindly find the Application information below for the <strong><u>International Student Scholarship by the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of National Taiwan University<\/u><\/strong> (hereinafter called the EECS College scholarship):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Available Degree:\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Current international graduate degree students only (exclude Overseas Chinese\/Hong Kong\/Macao\/Mainland Chinese students)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Students must comply with the\u00a0Ministry of Education\u2019s \u201cRegulations for International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>At the time of application, current students must have achieved an Average <strong>GPA of Academic Year 2024 of 3.2<\/strong> (<u>if the student\u00a0has been enrolled for less than a year, then the previous semester\u2019s score will be calculated)<\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>Students must still enroll in NTU as graduate student after June 2025.<strong style=\"color: #555555; font-size: 14.4px;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Award:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>For doctoral student: NTD $16,000 monthly living cost.<\/li>\n<li>For MS student: NTD $12,000 monthly living cost.<strong style=\"color: #555555; font-size: 14.4px;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Duration: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum 2 months~Maximum 4 months (<u>from <\/u><strong><u>September<\/u><\/strong><u> 2025 to <\/u><strong><u>December<\/u><\/strong><u> 2025<\/u>)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Quotas: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maximum 4 MS students and 4 doctoral students<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>\uff0a<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em><u>Please note that the duration and quotas of awards will be regulated each semester due to the College\u2019s financial situation. The exact duration and quotas of the EECS College scholarship for 2025 Spring semester will be announced to applicants along with the reviewing result.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Required Documents: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Past-year\u2019s transcript<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>If this semester is your <u>first semester at NTU<\/u>, and you don\u2019t have NTU transcript, please provide the transcript from your last University.<\/li>\n<li>If this semester is your <u>second semester at NTU<\/u>, the previous semester\u2019s transcript will be acceptable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Curriculum Vitae<\/li>\n<li>One to two Letter of Recommendation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>At least one must be from your advisor.<\/li>\n<li>Letters <strong><u>must be sent directly by the professors<\/u><\/strong> to Ms. Cathy Chen (<a href=\"mailto:cathychen@ntu.edu.tw\">cathychen@ntu.edu.tw<\/a>); submissions via students will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>Newly admitted students without an advisor may ask a familiar professor to provide a recommendation letter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Publication List (Required Document for Ph.D. Applicants)<\/li>\n<li>Thesis Proposal<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>If you haven&#8217;t started your project, you can\u00a0provide other academic beneficial materials as Point 5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Other beneficial materials.
