\u8b1b\u984c\uff1aEmerged Role of Gaming-based Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Exercise in Neurological Rehabilitation<\/div>\n
\u6458\u8981\uff1aVirtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) techniques have rapidly expanded and have become popular research themes. The use of VR\/AR is now increasing among neurological rehabilitation because of its several advantages over traditional rehabilitation techniques. First, VR provide repetitive task-specific training to enhance brain plasticity and motor learning. Second, an enriched environment facilitates attention and motivation of users to execute tasks of rehabilitation. Third, concurrent interactive feedback offers additional information a sense of body position in space. In this speech, I provide the available evidence of the feasibility and effectiveness of gaming-based, virtual reality or augmented reality exercise on balance and mobility in individuals with stroke of Parkinson disease. I also describe current status of this area at Taipei Medical University Hospital and highlight the need for further research. In addition, we develop a system that integrates game-based and AR programs to provide treatment in individuals with neurological disorders.<\/div>\n
