However, chromatic aberration, one of the most important optical problem, hasn\u2019t been demonstrated with metasurface techniques. To address this obstacle, in 2018, Prof. Kuan (BEBI) and Prof. Tsai (Academia Sinica) successfully demonstrated a broadband achromatic metalenses by \u201cincorporating an integrated-resonant unit element (IRUE) with the Pancharatnam\u2013Berry phase (PBP) method\u201d. This work had been published on Nature Nanotechnology[1].Lens have been used in various applications, such as smartphone, microscope, biological detecting device. However, traditional lens is limited by the refractive index of the material. Therefore, the thickness of lens can not shrink down to match requirements of applications. To achieve a tiny, thin, light, and precise optical device, metalens is one of the most promising solution. Metalens are capable of tailoring light properties at subwavelength resolution, such as phase, amplitude and polarization. Moreover, metalens has significant advantages of semiconductor foundry compatibility, which would benefit the development of flat optical systems in real life. To demonstrate this potential, e-beam lithography was employed by Prof. Kuan\u2019s group to fabricate nanostructures for metalens researches. Based on the collaboration with Prof. Tsai of Academia Sinica, a broadband achromatic metalenses can be demonstrated. The developed metalens can work in the range from 400 nm to 660 nm, which coverage the visible light spectrum. As a consequence, this is the first time to show a full-color image with metalens technologies. Because of compatibility with semiconductor fabrications, the developed metalens technologies can harness momentums of semiconductor industries for different nanophotonics and integrated optics in various applications.Reference:[1] S. \u9673\u51a0\u5f6c\u8fd1\u5e74\u4f86\u70ba\u4e86\u89e3\u6c7a\u50b3\u7d71\u900f\u93e1\u5c3a\u5bf8\u5fae\u5c0f\u5316\u7684\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u8d85\u7a4e\u4ecb\u9762(Metasurfaces)\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u513c\u7136\u6210\u70ba\u89e3\u6c7a\u5c0f\u5c3a\u5bf8\u5948\u7c73\u5149\u5b78\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u89e3\u3002\u8d85\u7a4e\u4ecb\u9762\u4fc2\u7531\u8868\u9762\u9031\u671f\u6392\u5217\u7684\u6b21\u6ce2\u9577\u7d50\u69cb(Subwavelength structure)\u4f86\u8abf\u8b8a\u5165\u5c04\u7684\u96fb\u78c1\u6ce2\uff0c\u9032\u800c\u9054\u5230\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u6548\u679c\u3002\u800c\u5229\u7528\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u4f86\u89e3\u6c7a\u8272\u6563\u7684\u554f\u984c\u4e00\u76f4\u4ee5\u4f86\u90fd\u88ab\u71b1\u70c8\u5730\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\uff0c\u5c0d\u6b64\uff0c\u672c\u6240\u7ba1\u5091\u96c4\u8001\u5e2b\u8207\u4e2d\u7814\u9662\u7684\u5718\u968a\u5408\u4f5c\u767c\u5c55\u4e86\u9769\u547d\u6027\u7684\u65b0\u89c0\u5ff5-\u300c\u96c6\u6210\u5171\u632f\u55ae\u5143\u300d\u914d\u5408Pancharatnam\u2013Berry\u7684\u76f8\u4f4d\u7d44\u5408\u65b9\u5f0f\u6210\u529f\u88fd\u4f5c\u51fa\u5bec\u983b\u4e14\u6d88\u8272\u5dee\u7684\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\uff0c\u5c07\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u672a\u4f86\u5728\u53d6\u4ee3\u50b3\u7d71\u5f0f\u900f\u93e1\u7684\u91cc\u7a0b\u4e0a\u63a8\u9032\u4e86\u4e00\u5927\u6b65\uff0c\u672c\u7bc7\u8ad6\u6587\u5df2\u57282018\u5e74\u6642\u767c\u8868\u5728\u300a\u81ea\u7136\u5948\u7c73\u6280\u8853\u300b(Nature nanotechnology)[1]\u3002\u900f\u93e1\u5728\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u5ee3\u70ba\u904b\u7528\u7684\u5149\u5b78\u5143\u4ef6\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u667a\u6167\u578b\u624b\u6a5f\u3001\u91ab\u5b78\u6aa2\u6e2c\u5668\u6750\u3001\u986f\u5fae\u93e1\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u7919\u65bc\u6750\u6599\u6298\u5c04\u7387\u7684\u9650\u5236\uff0c\u76ee\u524d\u666e\u904d\u7684\u900f\u93e1\u5c3a\u5bf8\u90fd\u5f88\u5927\uff0c\u8981\u771f\u6b63\u505a\u5230\u8f15\u3001\u8584\u3001\u5fae\u5c0f\u4e26\u4e14\u7cbe\u6e96\u7684\u5143\u4ef6\u5fc5\u9808\u4ef0\u8cf4\u8d85\u7a4e\u4ecb\u9762\u7684\u6280\u8853\u3002\u300c\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u300d\u5728\u63a7\u5236\u96fb\u78c1\u6ce2\u7684\u5404\u7a2e\u7279\u6027\u4e0a\u90fd\u6709\u8457\u5353\u8d8a\u7684\u8868\u73fe\uff0c\u5982\u76f8\u4f4d\u3001\u9707\u5e45\u548c\u504f\u632f\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u56e0\u70ba\u662f\u900f\u904e\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u5948\u7c73\u6280\u8853\u7684\u88fd\u7a0b\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0d\u4f46\u80fd\u5920\u88fd\u4f5c\u51fa\u5e73\u9762\u7684\u7d50\u69cb\u4e26\u4e14\u80fd\u5920\u964d\u4f4e\u88fd\u9020\u7684\u6210\u672c\uff0c\u7ba1\u8001\u5e2b\u5718\u968a\u7684\u96fb\u5b50\u675f\u5fae\u5f71\u7cfb\u7d71\u5728\u88fd\u4f5c\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u4e0a\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u95dc\u9375\u6027\u7684\u6280\u8853\u652f\u6301\u3002\u5118\u7ba1\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u7684\u597d\u8655\u975e\u5e38\u591a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5728\u89e3\u6c7a\u8272\u6563\u7684\u554f\u984c\u4e0a\u4f9d\u7136\u662f\u5f88\u5927\u7684\u6311\u6230\uff0c\u672c\u6b21\u900f\u904e\u4e2d\u7814\u9662\u4ee5\u53ca\u53f0\u7063\u5927\u5b78\u5171\u540c\u5408\u4f5c\u7814\u767c\u51fa\u300c\u96c6\u6210\u5171\u632f\u55ae\u5143\u300d\u7684\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\uff0c\u6210\u529f\u88fd\u4f5c\u51fa\u5bec\u983b\u3001\u6d88\u8272\u5dee\u7684\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\uff0c\u5176\u4fee\u6b63\u7684\u6ce2\u6bb5\u5728400\u5948\u7c73\u5230660\u5948\u7c73\u7684\u5149\u6ce2\u9577\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u80fd\u5920\u5c07\u6b64\u6ce2\u6bb5\u7684\u5149\u90fd\u532f\u805a\u5728\u540c\u4e00\u500b\u9ede\u4e0a\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u662f\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u7b2c\u4e00\u500b\u5718\u968a\u6210\u529f\u5229\u7528\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u505a\u51fa\u5168\u5f69\u6210\u50cf\u7684\u5716\u50cf\u3002\u6700\u5f8c\uff0c\u9019\u9805\u7814\u7a76\u5728\u672a\u4f86\u80fd\u5920\u61c9\u7528\u5728\u624b\u6a5f\u93e1\u982d\u3001\u986f\u5fae\u93e1\u9084\u6709\u6700\u8fd1\u5f88\u7d05\u7684\u66dd\u5149\u6a5f\u4e0a\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u61c9\u7528\u7684\u5c64\u9762\u53ef\u4ee5\u8aaa\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u5ee3\u6cdb\uff0c\u80fd\u5920\u8b93\u73fe\u6709\u7684\u5149\u5b78\u7cfb\u7d71\u66f4\u5c0f\u3001\u66f4\u4fbf\u5b9c\u751a\u81f3\u756b\u9762\u80fd\u5920\u66f4\u52a0\u6e05\u6670!\u5e73\u9762\u8d85\u5fae\u578b\u5bec\u983b\u6d88\u8272\u5dee\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u4e4b\u5149\u5b78\u7167\u7247\u548c\u9996\u500b\u5229\u7528\u8d85\u7a4e\u900f\u93e1\u6210\u50cf\u7684\u5168\u5f69\u5716\u50cf[1]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently,
